Situated towards the end of a quiet single track lane, Finca La Morera is surrounded by five acres of lovingly tended terraced gardens which stretch down towards the valley floor and the river below.

The terraces are swathed in lavender, rosemary and thyme and around the house the beds are filled with sweet scented roses, jasmine and bougainvillea. The giant palms, catalpa and mimosa trees provide welcome shade in the high summer. There are two covered terraces for alfresco dining (one equipped with a large BBQ , fridge and marble sink) the other adjacent to the second kitchen. Plenty of grassed areas provide ample opportunity for outdoor fun and games.

A glistening 13 metre infinity pool, ranging from 1-2 metres in depth and surrounded by stone terracing with lots of loungers, gazebos and umbrellas, lies just below the house. From here the views stretch towards the medieval city of Ronda and, in the distance beyond, to the mountains of the Sierras. The pool is enclosed by a wooden fence and a steep bank of prickly cactus.

Behind the house lies the second swimming pool, some 8 metres in length and 1 ½ metres deep. This is solar heated and also gated, surrounded by terraces with sun loungers and shaded by the Mulberry tree from which the house takes its name.

The organic land produces a wide variety of delicious seasonal fruit and vegetables all of which are available with our compliments and our wonderful gardener, Miguel, who is ably assisted by Alan, will be delighted to give you a selection of produce.

Alberca and view

"In all the villas we have ever rented we have never been taken care of so well. The attention to detail is incredible; it is absolutely beautiful. We all had such a wonderful time and would come back again and again"
